What is 'From The Dugout'?

From The Dugout is home to a small community of users who were fans of the Player Manager series of games from Anco Software, the latest being Player Manager 2003.

After the closure of Anco in May 2003, Floodlit Software was formed by the core developers from Anco to continue development of the game. Along with a new company it was decided it was time for a new name - so "From The Dugout" was born.

At the end of 2003, Floodlit had not found a publisher for From The Dugout. Instead, the team had an offer to work for Beautiful Game Studios, working on the next generation of Championship Manager games for Eidos. This was an oppurtunity too good to miss, but does mean that Player Manager/From The Dugout will not continue in it's current form.

This web site has been formed to keep the community alive. Go on over to the forum to see what's happening. Update June 2006: Due to lack of recent use, and the effort needed to keep the software up to date, the forums have closed. Please move on over to the Championship Manager Forums instead.
